Melrose Sevens

Play Vision was appointed by Melrose Rugby to produce and broadcast the 2025 Howden Melrose Sevens from The Greenyards in Melrose. The event featured 24 men's teams and four women's teams with almost nine hours of live coverage across a full day.

Highlights of our partnership:

• Play Vision negotiated for Premier Sports to show the latter stages of the tournament in the UK & Ireland, with just under three hours of live coverage going out on Premier Sports 1 following the EPCR Champions Cup Final.

• Coverage was also available internationally on the Melrose Sevens YouTube channel for the full day.

​

• Play Vision produced the live coverage on behalf of Melrose Rugby and Premier Sports, with five cameras, five commentators on rotation throughout the day and on-screen graphics bringing the event to life for tens of thousands of viewers across the world.

• Live clips were made available to Melrose Sevens to promote the event and the broadcast coverage on their social media channels.

• The 2025 Howden Melrose Sevens attracted a five-figure broadcast audience across all platforms.

• Play Vision provided the event with a live feed for their 3 big screens around The Greenyards.

​

• Play Vision also produced the broadcast titles and advert bumpers on behalf of Premier Sports in conjunction with FrontTier Sports.​
