Scottish Athletics

Play Vision worked with Scottish Athletics to produce and broadcast their EAP Glasgow meeting in January 2026, along with the Scottish Athletics Indoor Invitational in February 2026, featuring Keely Hodgkinson and Georgia Hunter Bell .

EAP Glasgow

The three-hour meeting was broadcast live for the first time and was available to watch on BBC iPlayer and on the BBC Sport website in the UK and on the European Athletics website worldwide. Play Vision produced the coverage with English commentary and graphics. Former Scottish athlete Eilidh Doyle was part of the commentary team, along with Stuart McFarlane and Dale Clancy. The coverage was watched by tens of thousands of people on a Saturday evening.

Scottish Athletics Indoor Invitational

Following the successful broadcast of the EAP Glasgow meeting, Scottish Athletics appointed Play Vision to produce coverage of a one-hour meeting, featuring six invitational races. Headlining the meeting were English middle-distance runners, Keely Hodgkinson and Georgia Hunter Bell. Keely was racing in Glasgow just 10 days after setting a new world record for an indoor 800 metres.

The meeting was broadcast live on FloTrack in North America, Australia and New Zealand, on the SportsShoes.com website in the UK and on the European Athletics website everywhere else.

All broadcast partners were given worldwide clip rights to ensure maximum exposure of the event, which achieved more than 4 million views worldwide.

Highlights of our partnership:

  • Play Vision produced live coverage of both events at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow with graphics and commentary.

  • The coverage was produced remotely, with only the camera operators and commentators on-site.

  • Play Vision made live clips available to broadcast partners to promote the coverage on their social channels.
